The Sound of Music

I got the movie The Sound of Music for my birthday from a dear friend. Of course for those of you who know me well know that it is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time! Anyhow I made the kids watch with me. Here are a few of their comments.

(All of the nuns were walking in at the beginning of the movie.)
Cohl asked what they were called. I said, "They are called nuns." Cohl came back with, "So they are nuns and they do nuthing." I laughed of course.

Kirra looked up at me when Maria broke out into song for the third time, "There she goes to singing again."

Big kids are ready for Halloween

Here is Kirra with her Fairy Wings. She asks to FLY. So I lift her in the air and she puts her arms and legs up to fly.
Cohl was an Indian when he was one. So we still have the costume and he put it on the other day saying he was going to be an indian again. After I determined that it was way too smal we found another one. He got a bow and arrow set with this one. In two days he learned how to shoot it across the house.

Bunny Love

One of the neighbor students got a bunny and brought "Jackson" over to see the kids.
They LOVED it! Jackson hopped all over the yard. It is by far the most active bunny I have ever been around.
